PTSA meetings will be held on the first Thursday of each month, September through June (with some exceptions; see calendar below). Meetings begin at 8:30 a.m. at El Modena High School in room 703, unless otherwise noted, and all are invited to attend. As a PTSA member we value your voice and your vote on important matters pertaining to our Vanguard student body. At our meetings you will hear from our Principal, Dr. Saxton, as well as Mrs. Davis (counselor) and our ASB representative. It is a valuable way to stay abreast of the latest news and announcements affecting our school and community, as well as have opportunity to serve and support our school in ways that fit your time and talents.

We serve the Vanguard community in a myriad of ways such as helping with registration and vision & hearing screening, supplying snacks for faculty awards breakfasts, handling the coat check room at formal dances, assisting with campus beautification, supporting technology, proctoring exams, and more. Spanish language translation is available at our meetings. Student members who are seniors are eligible to apply for PTA sponsored college scholarships.
