Vanguards, remember that if you have a short day for second semester then you need to go to Room 402 to receive the early release sticker.  You need to get a new sticker even if you had a short day sticker for 1st semester. (Kulp 2/15)

 

ELMO’s Vocal Music Department is selling their annual “singing valentines” today, February 6 through February 13. These singing valentine grams can be purchased for $5 and $7. Don’t miss your chance to embarrass that special someone with these cute Valentine’s Day love songs. You can visit our table in the quad during lunch for more information. (Solis, 2/13)

 

Seniors, do you want a FREE shirt? Have you been accepted to a 4 year college? Even if it is not where you may attend, we want to know! Just print out a copy of your acceptance letter, bring it to your counselor, and you will get your “ACCEPTED” t-shirt to show off to your friends and relatives. (2/15)

Hey Vanguards, are you a dog lover?  Better yet, are you a dog lover that wants some more community service hours?  Well, we have the perfect service opportunity just for you!  Next Saturday, Feb 18th, Paws FUR Pink will be holding a 5K over at Irvine Park and they sure can use your help.  For more information on this fun-filled event, please stop by the College and Career Center today!  (Meissner 2/13)

All you Mighty Vanguards, do you like working with younger kids?  Do you have some track and field experience that you would like to share? Esplanade Elementary is asking for our help!  They are starting to get their kids ready for the Foundation Games and they are requesting help from our Vanguards who have some track and field experience.  Can that be you?  If you are interested in helping out with the younger kids in our community, please stop by the College and Career Center today and pick up a flyer for this rewarding service opportunity.
