AP Edition College Physics: A Strategic Approach, by Knight, Jones and Field.

Course Description AP Physics 2 is an algebra-based, introductory college-level physics course. Students cultivate their understanding of physics through inquiry-based investigations as they explore these topics: fluids; thermodynamics; electrical force, field, and potential; electric circuits; magnetism and electromagnetic induction; geometric and physical optics; and quantum, atomic, and nuclear physics.

Workload - recommended skills/courses to take for the class
  • Concurrently Enrolled in AP Calculus B/C (Recommended), AP Calculus A/B is ok.
  • Homework: Approximately 45 minutes per day, or 1.5 hours every class period.
  • Homework includes reading, problem solving, and lab write-ups.
