SENIOR ORIENTATION ASSEMBLY / GRAD NITE INFO / CAP & GOWN DISTRIBUTION, Amphitheater, 11:40 AM. EXTRA CAPS & GOWNS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE from the Herff Jones representative for $35 (cash only). Contact Herff Jones directly at 714-838-5299 or www.socalgraduates.com
Please note: Caps and Gowns are coming from a new vendor this year and are not the same color as the ones purchased in prior years. Therefore, Students will not be able to re-wear gowns that have been used by graduates in prior years!!!
|Satuday, May 19||JUNIOR / SENIOR PROM: Aquarium of the Pacific, Long Beach, CA, 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM. STUDENTS MUST HAVE ALL DETENTIONS CLEARED BY MAY 15th TO ATTEND PROM. Guest passes will be available starting on May 1st and are due no later than May 17th. Formal pictures will be taken at the dance. Last day to buy Prom Tickets is May 17th!!!|

Important: All Seniors must have ZERO DETENTIONS and COMPLETED CREDIT RECOVERY by MAY 25th to be eligible to participate in HONORS DAY at MAGIC MOUNTAIN & SENIOR BRUNCH
No Refunds will be given after tickets are purchased for any senior activity.
|Wednesday, June 6||CAP AND GOWN PANORAMIC PICTURE, Amphitheater, 10:30 AM. All seniors should bring their CAP AND GOWN. The cost is $20 (non-laminated) or $25 (laminated) and must be paid when picture is taken. Bring exact change, or make a check payable to SOUTH COAST PHOTOGRAPHIC|

|THURSDAY, June 7||* SENIOR FINAL EXAMS: Periods 1A, 2A, 3A, 4|
|FRIDAY, June 8||* SENIOR FINAL EXAMS: Period 1, 2, 3|
|SUNDAY, June 10||BACCALAUREATE: Wear cap and gown. Ceremony will be held on campus beginning at 6:00 PM|
|Monday, June 11||HONORS DAY @ Magic Mountain. Buses leave El Modena HS at 8:00 AM promptly. Students must ride the bus - No Private Transportation. Seniors return to El Modena at approximately 9 PM. Cost is $75, which includes lunch. Seniors not participating must attend school. Must turn in signed permission slip at the time of the ticket purchase|
|Tuesday, June 12||
SENIOR BRUNCH / SLIDE SHOW / YEARBOOK SIGNING: Elks Club, Santa Ana. Students must ride the bus - NOT PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION. Cost is $40. Buses leave El Modena at 9:30 AM and return at 1:00 PM. Seniors not participating must attend school. Must turn in signed permission slip at the time of ticket purchase.
Graduation tickets will be distributed at the Senior Brunch. SENIORS MUST HAVE ALL BOOKS TURNED IN TO THE LIBRARY AND ALL OUTSTANDING FEES / FINES PAID BEFORE THEY CAN RECEIVE TICKETS FOR THE GRADUATION CEREMONY. THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE PRIOR TO SENIOR BRUNCH. Any student not attending the Senior Brunch will need to pick up tickets in Mrs. Erich's office in Room A-1 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesday, June 12, or Wednesday, June 13, after Graduation Practice. EACH SENIOR WILL RECEIVE TEN (10) TICKETS FOR THE GRADUATION CEREMONY. NO ADDITIONAL TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS
|Wednesday, June 13||* COMMENCEMENT PRACTICE: 7:00 - 9:00 AM - Amphitheater / Fred Kelly Stadium. Assemble in Amphitheater at 7:00 AM. Caps & Gown are NOT worn to practice.|
|Thursday, June 14||
* COMMENCEMENT: Assemble in Cafeteria at 12:00 noon carrying Cap and Gown and dressed nicely for the ceremony. Commencement excercises at Fred Kelly Stadium are at 1:30 PM. A separate letter will be mailed home with additional information about the ceremony. Photographs are taken of each graduate receiving his / her diploma. Information about ordering copies of those photos will be mailed home. Diplomas will be distributed in the Cafeteria immediately after graduation.
GRAD NITE: In the El Modena High School Gym, sponsored by Parent Grad Nite Committee - 9:30 PM - 5:00 AM. The cost is currently $130.00 and a payment drop box is located in the front office.
THESE ARE THE ONLY SCHOOL SPONSORED SENIOR ACTIVITIES
