Summer School 2021 Orientation Presentation

The end of the school year is nearly upon us, and summer is right around the corner. In order to keep your student on track for graduation, summer school is recommended for your child.

The reason your student is being assigned to attend summer school is for credit recovery for failing a class or needs to make up credits. Your child will be enrolled in summer school to make up one or more classes.

  • Students will be dropped from the class if they do not attend daily.

  • If your student has not attended classes within the first two days, they will be dropped from the class.

  • Classes will be held Monday-Friday from 7:45-12 noon

  • There are two sessions:Session A June 15-July 1 and Session B July 6 –July 21.

  • July 5th is a holiday

  • If your student completes a class and needs another class for credit recovery, they will be enrolled for a second class and informed of this

  • If your student does not have a device, please contact the district office and pick one up between the hours of 12-3 daily.

  • Please do not hesitate to contact your student’s counselor if you have any questions regarding graduation status or summer school needs.
